Lubrication plays an important role in the warm extrusion plastic forming process. It can not only improve the life of the die, but also stabilize the surface quality of the product. In the initial stage of trial production, self-made oil-based graphite lubricant was used, and the mixing ratio of cylinder oil and graphite was 3:1. The results show that the cooling effect of water-based graphite lubricant is better than that of oil-based graphite lubricant, and it has the advantages of easy cleaning of die cavity, stable surface quality and no oil pollution in the working site. At present, water-based graphite lubricant for warm extrusion has formed a series of products at reasonable prices in various domestic manufacturers.
