How to select rightly the sling and use it correctly

When choosing sling, we need to consider the following principles:
 
1. Selection of specifications and types of slings: In general, we suggest that the load, size, shape, weight of the lifted object and the hoisting scheme to be adopted should be taken into account in the selection of specifications. Then, the specifications of the slings should be designed according to the design and mechanical principles of the relevant slings. Whether accessories or soft lifting lugs are needed or not, careful consideration must be given to the matching of the end of the sling with auxiliary accessories and lifting equipment.
 
2. Limited use angle of sling: When using flat sling with soft sling, the minimum length of the sling used should not be less than 3.5 times and the maximum thickness of the hook in the contact part of the sling, and the movable angle of the sling should not exceed 20 degrees. When connecting a sling with a soft lifting lug to a lifting appliance, the contact part between the sling and the lifting appliance must be constant. Unless the axial width of the sling does not exceed 75 mm, the bending radius of the lifting accessories must be at least 0.75 times the axial width of the sling. Examples are given: the radius of the sling on the hook is at least 0.75 times the axial width of the sling. The width of the fabric may be affected by the radius of the part inside the hook. The effect of the curvature of the hook hinders the balance of strength in the width range of the fabric. It is strictly forbidden to overload the sling, and the correct mode coefficients must be used. Some of the extreme working force modes may have been given on the label, and the maximum angle in the vertical direction can not be exceeded by the multi-assembly sling.
 
3. Follow the good hoisting experience and plan the hoisting and light operation plan before starting hoisting.
 
4. When lifting, the rightful use of sling to connect the rightly place and connect the loads in the safe way, the sling must be placed on the load so that the load can balance the width of the sling; the stitching part of the sling that can not be tied or twisted can not be placed on the hook or lifting equipment, and always be placed on the vertical part of the sling, through far away from the load and lifting equipment. Hook and locking angle to prevent label damage.

5. Cautions for the use of multi-assembly hangers: The evaluation of the ultimate working force of multi-assembly hangers depends on the symmetry of the loads on the combined hangers. That is to say, when lifting, the branches of the hangers are symmetrically and evenly distributed according to the design and have the same vertical angle. If the branching force is not uniform according to the design and the maximum strength is on one branch, it will be the sum of the maximum bearing capacity of the branching near the design angle. The same result will be included in the four groups of suspension cables, if it is not a rigid load. Note: For rigid loads, most of the gravity may be supported by three or even two of them, and the remaining balanced rotary suspension ring protects only the load.
 
6. When hoisting, the protective sling of the sling should be far away from the sharp edge, friction and wear. Whether it is far from the load or lifting equipment, the proper part of the sling should be strengthened and protected from the damage of the sharp edge and wear. Additional protective supplements are necessary.
 
7. To ensure the load balance in the lifting process, the sling must be used in a safe way, so that the load can not be tilted or slipped from the sling; the sling must be arranged at the center of gravity of the load and directly above the lifting point, so that the load can be balanced and stable. If the center of gravity of the load is not below the lifting point, the sling in motion may cross the starting point and lead to danger.
